Krista is one of our case managers at family promise. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social worker and biblical studies from Cairn University. She lives local with her husband and 2 children. She loves serving the community within her local church. Born and raised in NJ she loves spending time with her family at the beach and outdoors. She loves being a part of the family promise team and seeing lives change through the programs family promise offers.

Teresa is a Certified Applied Positive Psychology Practitioner (CAPP) and Post-Traumatic Growth Specialist. In addition, she has her MA in The Science of Well-being & Happiness Studies and a BA in Psychology. Teresa enjoys working with families and individuals by offering them support and encouragement. She provides a safe space where someone can feel seen and heard. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her children and her pets. She loves to travel where she can meet people and enjoys the outdoors.

Tammy is our part time Administrative Assistant. She is a married, mom of 2 teenage boys, owns a local home business, and is a member of Lighthouse Alliance Community Church. Being raised by a Mom who always taught her to help others she had been looking for a part time position that would fulfill both "job" and "helping others". Tammy is a Program Director for a one week program each summer at a children's camp and is where she met Elizabeth when the camp chose Family Promise of the Jersey Shore as their charity for the week. Coincidentally, a couple months later the Administrative Assistant position opened up & it was a perfect fit for what Tammy was looking for. As she continues her work with FPJS she commits herself to Romans 12:13 "When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality."

Cheryl has dedicated her life to helping others. She has worked in nonprofit management for many years. In 2010, Cheryl became our Director of Family Promise. She helped dig roots with local congregations and volunteers who wanted to help our families. In 2016 she left for an opportunity that would send her traveling to other counties for work and in 2023 returned to Family Promise once again. She is happy to be back once again!
Cheryl is married to John and has 2 grown children. She loves to travel and is very involved with
her church and serves on several ministry teams.

Elizabeth has been with FPJS since 2013 first as the case manager and then moved into the Executive Director role in late 2016. She holds a Master's in Therapy from Drexel University specializing in Creative Arts Therapies. She has worked in the nonprofit field for over 20 years and has extensive experience in trauma and developmental work. She came across Family Promise by "chance" from a previous job. Her passion for helping others and wanting to make a difference within the community made the transition a great fit.

A former photojournalist and an experienced public information professional, Jim serves FPJS as our Development and Communications Manager, overseeing and executing our fund development and communications plans. He grew up in Toms River and is a graduate of Monsignor Donovan High School. Jim lives with his wife Jen on Long Beach Island where he is a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi and continues to pursue his passions for photography, writing and Irish culture.
